Questions
Is there a cost to join?+
No. Joining is free, and you never pay Vontaara anything.
How do I get paid?+
By M-Pesa or bank transfer. Commission can be paid 15 days after the business pays, once you have at least KES 2,000 ready. You see every payment and every payout in your partner page.
How do you know a business is mine?+
A business is yours if it signs up through your link or code. If someone opens more than one partner's link, the first partner to introduce them keeps the credit for 60 days.
What if a business asks for a refund?+
The commission on that payment is cancelled. If it was already paid to you, it comes off your next payout.
Can I refer myself or a business I own?+
No. Self-referrals and fake accounts are not allowed, and we can pause a partner while we look into a concern.
Do I earn on free trials?+
No, commission is earned only on real plan payments. Businesses on a free trial are not shown in your partner page until they make their first payment.
What about tax?+
You are responsible for tax on what you earn. We ask for your KRA PIN so payments can be recorded properly. Speak to your own tax adviser if you are unsure.
Which documents do you need?+
Individuals: a copy of your national ID (both sides) or passport. Companies and organisations: your KRA PIN certificate or your certificate of business registration. We keep them private and delete them if you are not approved.
